Yandi is a loveable but nervous hippogriff, he is a little bit silly but kind at heart.

Hippogriff 

They are not very well known. Hippogriffs are about the size of a horse. There head and front half is the same as the common griffin, but unlike the common griffin its back half is that of a horse instead of a lion. All sexes are the same tawny-gold colour.

Hippogriffs are more intelligent than a human, but they can’t speak any human

languages.
